Subsea Cable Coalition Strengthens Collaboration at Submarine Networks in London

Just like last year, the Subsea Cable Coalition sponsored the Submarine Networks event in London. Both the Subsea Cable Coalition team from ECP and coalition partners were present to firmly establish the Netherlands as a prime landing location for new submarine data cables. Coalition ambassador Martin Prins provided an update in the plenary program on the current state, opportunities in the Netherlands, and the coalition’s activities.

The ECP team and coalition partners engaged in discussions with key stakeholders, including big tech companies, cable operators, cable installers, governments, and technology providers. On Tuesday evening, they hosted a dinner with the attending coalition partners.

On the first day of the event, various parties announced a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on a Pan-Arctic cable system aimed at improving resilience and connectivity.
